Holiday Open Mic Night in Cedarburg

BLUEBURG CAFÉ - OPEN MIC NIGHT

The Blueburg Café at the Cedarburg Cultural Center offers “Plug and Play” Open Mic nights on the first Wednesday of each month, showcasing musicians, singers, poets, dancers, comedians, filmmakers and story tellers. Amplification and microphones are provided. There is no cover charge, and all ages are welcome!

Open Mic will start at 7:00 pm and continue until approximately 9:00 pm. Doors open and sign-up begins at 6:15 pm. Slots typically fill up by 6:40, so please come early! Performers will appear on stage on a first-come, first on-stage basis, with management reserving the right to move performances to best showcase the talent. Each performer will have approximately 5 minutes on the stage. Filmmakers must call in advance to insure proper equipment is available.

The Café’s full bar offers drink specials, beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks.

The Blueburg Café is part of the Cedarburg Cultural Center's Talent Incubator which offers an array of resources including online content, seminars and classes designed to foster professional development for visual and performing artists, as well as exhibition space and the stage of the Blueburg Café. Join songwriter Kim Albrecht (Wild Violets) for a monthly opportunity to share, encourage and learn from fellow songwriters in a supportive environment. Bring your instrument and your latest work. No charge.

The Cedarburg Cultural Center’s non-smoking venue includes a full bar, ample free parking, and wheelchair accessibility.

Advance tickets may also be purchased by cash or check at Olsen’s Piggly Wiggly at W61 N286 Washington Ave, Cedarburg.  

The mission of the Cedarburg Cultural Center is to provide a gathering place to celebrate community, the arts and local heritage. 

The Center is free and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday 10 am - 5 pm, and Sundays 12 – 4pm.  The Center is closed on Mondays.

 The galleries, classrooms, and restrooms of the Cedarburg Cultural Center are wheelchair accessible.
