November 12—November 17th—Lady Luck Week:
This is sure to be your lucky week. For every $10 you spend put your name in our “fish bowl.” At the end of the week we will draw three winners—First prize: A $200 Dorothy Gallun Fine Jewelry Gift Certificate; Second prize: A $100 Dorothy Gallun Fine Jewelry Gift Certificate and Third prize: A $50 Dorothy Gallun Fine Jewelry Gift Certificate! November 19th—24th—Give Thanks Week:
Allow us to “thank you” for your patronage and support! Since 1950 Dorothy has enjoyed a career she loves—the jewelry business! For 62 years you have helped her live her dream job…you have made her a part of special occasions…you have made it possible for her to work with some of the most beautiful pieces of jewelry ever created and you have allowed her to spread her enthusiasm and joy of jewelry to several generations of customers! Now let us give thanks to you—this week bring your jewelry in and we will check and clean it free of charge! In addition, Patty Gallun Hansen, Graduate Gemologist, will do insurance appraisals this week for $10 per item (maximum of 3 items) while you wait on a first come first serve basis!! While you wait, enjoy cookies, beverages and let us thank you over and over and over!! (We will be closed Thanksgiving Day)
November 26th—December 1st—The Real Housewives of OC Week:
Love those fab statement necklaces that you see Gretchen, Tamera, Vicki, Heather and Alexis wear on the OC?? This week the spotlight will be shinning on some of the most popular fashion jewelry and accessories of today! Straight from the fashion magazines to our store…trendy looks and classic expressions for the “Real Housewife” in all of us! Celebrate the season in style looking like a million but knowing that you paid nowhere near a fortune for your fabulous look!! Shhh, it will be our secret!
December 3rd –December 6th—Be A “MINI” Gemologist:
This week, Graduate Gemologist, Patty Gallun Hansen, will be available to teach you the 101’s of Gemology! What color of sapphire is the best, what are inclusions, what does “make” have to do with a diamond’s beauty??? How will I care for my pearls, opals and coral? Have a question about jewelry, diamonds or colored stones—Patty will explain and unravel the mysteries of jewelry and jewelry buying.
December 7th & 8th—Buy Like A Pro:
Ever wish you were a jewelry professional, going to trade shows and buying jewelry at wholesale prices?? Very rarely (if ever) will a jewelry company allow retail customers to buy wholesale from their “line!” We have arranged with Spectrum Gems Inc., of Miami Florida to do just that! Choose from a stunning collection of karat gold and sterling silver jewelry. Mouth watering colored stones and dazzling diamonds will enhance the many inspired pieces he will be presenting! All at his wholesale price!! Our hours for this Friday and Saturday only are 10:00a.m.-5:30p.m. If you would like a private showing please call 262-546-4523.
December 10th-15th—Trinkets, Curiosities & Conversation Piece Week:
Jewels, trinkets, kinckknacks , curiosities and conversation pieces will be front and center this week! Explore through boxes and boxes of vintage costume and sterling silver jewelry, discover an old Victorian mouse trap, un-cover some marvelous unearthed treasures including: old cameras, post cards, vintage clothing, linens. 1940’s flashlight, vintage glasswear…too many distinctive items to mention here! One thing is for sure you’ll be amused!!
December 17th-24th—The Hysterical Holiday Week:
This week is always crazy fun!! Shoppers, who couldn’t find or put off finding that indescribable, “perfect present”—all scrambling hoping to find the primo, best-ever, mind blowing, whoop-de-do present!! Don’t worry-No problem! We can pull rabbits out of hats and make things appear out of thin air—well not really, but we are darn good at helping to find that last minute gift! Please note we will be open on Sunday December 23rd from 10:00-3:00 and all the magic will end Monday, December 24th at 3:00p.m.
