Family/Youth Programs at the Museum of Quilts & Fiber Arts

The Wisconsin Museum of Quilts & Fiber Arts, located just east of historic downtown Cedarburg, Wisconsin, is dedicated to educating the public about the artistic, cultural, historic and social importance of quilts and fibers arts.  Stop in to view their wonderful exhibits and take part in their holiday craft workshops!

Holiday Leftovers Drop-In Workshop
Saturday, November 30, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Design your own fiber arts masterpieces out of leftover scraps and pieces of fabric, yarn, buttons, cardboard, spools, and paper, or follow one of our suggested projects. Free drop-in workshop. General museum admission applies for non-members. Ages 3 & up.

Christmas Ornaments Drop-In Workshop
Saturday, December 7, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Create a handful of Christmas ornaments such as bell, ice skate, and Santa. Fee: $6.00/non-member child, $2/member child. Ages 5 & up. 

Make a Gift & Wrap It Drop-In Workshop
Sunday, December 15, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Make a gift for a special adult (it's a secret, so we can't tell you details, but it features some hand sewing!). Then design your own wrapping paper as well. Free drop-in workshop. General admission applies for non-members. Ages 5 & up.

Beach Holiday Drop-In Workshop
Friday, December 27, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Ready to hit the beach for some summer-inspired activities? You'll design a sand sculpture in a jar, string a fabric flower lei, braid a summer belt, and more! Fee: $6.00/non-member child, $2/member child. Ages 3 & up. 

Museum hours:

Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 10-4
Thursday 10-8
Sunday noon-4.
Mondays and Tuesdays are by appointment.
