December 3 – 3:00 p.m. Blue Christmas Meditation:  Time to breathe, quiet music, and light refreshments offers comfort to all who are burdened or grieving.  Come away with peace and hope for the future.

December 10 – 10:15 a.m. Jazz Ensemble Worship:  Instrumental jazz arrangements of traditional carols. An intergenerational gathering of CUMC musicians and community players that is becoming a local tradition.

December 24 – Christmas Eve Services – 10:15 a.m. – “Peace Has Come” Traditional Service with music and children participation. 11:00 p.m. – A calm, contemplative service with Christmas carols and candlelight.

LIVE NATIVITY at the Advent Lutheran Church Prayer Garden:  Hear from local churches as they share the Christmas story through the reading of the Christmas gospel and through the singing of carols. You don't want to miss it:  the real "reason for the season!"

FESTIVE FRIDAYS HOT CHOCOLATE:  Grab a cup of hot chocolate as you shop and enjoy all the festive shopping and activities while supporting a good cause. Proceeds from hot chocolate sales will support the women at Ellsworth Correctional Center in the WIGBAC (Women Incarcerated Giving Back) Program. In this yarn ministry, women crochet blankets, hats, mittens and scarves, and make quilts, which Advent then distributes to people in need. It's a great ministry that supports women wanting to make amends and the hope that their rehabilitation brings.
