Create a fabulous personalized set of greeting cards by using watercolor

washes over masking fluid. These make great special occasion cards or

could be used for holiday cards. You will also be guided in a focus on color use, composition, and brushstroke effects. Class is appropriate for ages 10+, so it’s a perfect activity for parents and tweens to do together.  More info:  Cedarburg Cultural Center 262-375-3676.

Friday nights are extra-festive in Cedarburg with hundreds of

glowing luminaries lining the streets of the historic shopping district from

5:00 p.m. - 8 p.m. starting November 22.   Also on Fridays, shoppers and

visitors can enjoy free trolley rides that run from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. along

Cedarburg area adults 55 and older are invited to the Cedarburg

Senior Center's annual holiday get together organized by the former

Cedarburg Major, Fred Beyer.  Music begins at 4:30 p.m. and dinner at 5:00 p.m.  The meal will include a full roast turkey dinner complete with the trimmings, plus after-dinner entertainment by the Cedarburg High Vocal Jazz Ensemble.  Tickets are on sale at the Cedarburg Senior Center.  Seating is limited  and tickets must be purchased in advance.  Dinner held in the Webster Middle School Cafeteria at W78 N624 Wauwatosa Road.

U-Cut Christmas Trees

2019 Hours: Due to this past “Severe Winter” we lost many trees,

and have a limited supply available to cut. Therefore, we will be

open for only two weekends. 

Friday, Saturday, & Sunday only - 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

November 29, 30, and December 1 and December 6, 7, & 8, 2019

Choose from Scotch Pine, Meyers Spruce, Black Hill Spruce, or Colorado Blue

Spruce up to 7 feet tall.  Any tree $55- it makes no difference what size or species you choose.  Cash or check only please.  We do not accept debit or credit cards.  Other products available include fresh wreaths, door swags, boughs, and disposal bags.  We will provide you with a saw and tarp to drag your tree back to the barn.  There, we will shake your tree on our mechanical shaker to remove any debris and fallen needles prior to you taking it into your home.  For an additional $2 we will then bale your tree.  This puts netting around your tree to make it compact and easier to transport, fit through your doors, and set-up in your home.  Twine is available to secure tree to your vehicle.  As always, we have free “hot cider” for all, and candy canes for the kiddos.  For additional information, please go to our website, www.ucuttrees.com or visit our Facebook page, Stumpf’s Tree Farm.

Annual Cedarburg Tree Lighting

Chamber elves are busy organizing the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. 

Thanks to generous support from the local business community, Santa

arrives at the Cedarburg Community Center each year in a horse-drawn carriage, ushering in the season of joy and good cheer. From 5:30 – 7:00 p.m., families will be treated to a Christmas Concert by the Cedarburg Civic Band, cookies, cider, carols, make-and-take-crafts from local businesses, plus the Secret Santa Shop and Santa's Mailbox coordinated by the Cedarburg Junior Woman's Club.  Santa Claus himself arrives via horse and carriage courtesy of Port Washington State Bank at 7:00 p.m. to light the community tree.  CHS choir concert with sing-along carols follows immediately after the tree lighting.  Questions:  262-377-5856.

Mark your calendars for a magical journey to the North Pole.  This

tri-community event will be held at the Cedarburg Community Center Gym,

W63 N641 Washington Ave.  Activities include caroling, cooking decorating,

trolley rides, train display, letters to Santa, making reindeer food, photos with

Santa and Mrs. Claus and a gift from Santa.

Bring the family to see Santa and the wonders of his workshop!  Ride

decorated school busses from Cedarburg and Port Washington, or ride the

Trolley in Grafton to this family event.
